Bio

I am a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Science program at UC Berkeley working with Professor Ann Kring. I am also working with Professor Danielle Schlosser at UC San Francisco.

My research aims to elucidate factors that contribute to difficulties engaging in and navigating social interactions among people schizophrenia.  I view decreased engagement and poor navigation as being reciprocally related such that problems in one area directly affect the other. Through the integration of behavioral and neuroscientific methods of investigation, my goal is to identify targets for novel interventions and promote well-being.

Current research areas:

Social decision-making and learning

Anticipation and social motivation

Stigma resistance in severe mental illness

Contextual influences on emotion functioning

Mobile health interventions to enhance motivation in everyday life
